EUGENE, Ore. - Freshman Whitney Gipson earned third-place honors in the women's triple jump over the weekend at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Gipson, who collected All-America honors this spring in the long jump, finished third overall with a leap of 20 feet, 2 ¼ inches in the junior division of the women's long jump at Hayward Field.

On Sunday, former Flyin' Frog great Khadevis Robinson crossed the finish line in second-place in the men's 800 meters. Robinson cruised to a time of 1:45.97 to earn runner-up honors in Eugene.
