INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Amidst a rain-soaked track and overcast skies, TCU juniors Jonathan Jackson and Otis McDaniel concluded competition on Sunday at the 2007 AT&T USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Held at the IU Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium on the IUPUI campus, Jackson competed in the finals of the triple jump, while McDaniel ran in the semifinals of the 200 meters.

After advancing past the first round and into the semifinals of the 200 meters with a mark of 21.28 on Saturday, McDaniel bettered his time on Sunday. Competing in the second of two semifinal heats, the San Antonio, Texas, native logged a time of 21.16 and finished 16th overall. McDaniel's time did not qualify for the finals, as only the top eight finishers advanced to the finals.

Tyson Gay, who clocked a meet record time of 19.62, won the 200 meters. Gay also won the 100 meters on Friday.

Competing for the first time since earning All-America honors and placing third at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Jackson finished 14th in the men's triple jump final with a leap of 49-09.75 (15.18m).

Winning the event title was Aarik Wilson, who had a top leap of 55-11.75 (17.06m).
