SACRAMENTO, Calif.- Vanessa Mortensen qualified for the finals of the hammer throw at the NCAA Championships. This is her first time qualifying. She will be seeded 7th, with a throw of 202-4. The top eight finishers will receive All-American honors.

The finals of the hammer throw will be held on Saturday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
