Baton Rouge, La. - Teren Jameson of the University of Utah Outdoor Track and Field Team joined top athletes from around the country at the 2002 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship Meet in Baton Rouge, La. The meet began on Wed., May 29 and ended on Sat., June 1. The senior finished 12th (30:04.18) in the men's 10,000-meter run. Jameson had a strong senior year in 2002 placing first (14:57.49) in the 5,000-meter run at the Mountain West Conference Championships and was named to the Verizon Academic All-District VIII First team. He ends his career at Utah with a strong performance at the NCAA Championship meet.
