Sophomores Matt Keeran and Amanda Barnes led New Mexico in the throwing events. Keeran finished sixth in the javelin late Friday night with a throw of 203-03, his second-best effort of the season. Meanwhile, Barnes uncorked her second-best toss of the year in the shot put, finishing tied for 10th on Saturday with a mark of 47-07.50.
