COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV sophomore Raluca Udroiu and freshman Nichole McLean have been named Mountain West Conference women's swimmer and diver of the week, respectively.

Udroiu, a Bucharest, Romania, native, swam to three individual victories and was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team, as the Rebels bested Utah in a dual meet (167-131) on December 7. She started the meet winning the 100 (56.51) and 200-yard (2:01.17) backstroke events as well as the 200-yard individual medley (2:07.00). Udroiu completed the meet by being part of the winning medley relay team, posting a time of 1:45.47.

McLean, an Edmonton, Alberta, product, swept the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events against Utah on December 7. In the 1-meter, she posted a score of 226.05, and her score of 207.50 topped the field in the 3-meter.
