COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Air Force's Blair Leake and TCU's Kelly Seely have been named the Mountain West Conference Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively. It marks the first weekly honor for Leake and the third for Seely.

Leake, a junior from Springfield, Mo., was the top Falcon swimmer in the breaststroke events helping lead Air Force to a sixth-place finish at the Speedo Cup in Long Beach, Calif., last weekend. She finished sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke, setting a school record with a time of 2:19.50 to eclipse the previous mark of 2:19.91, set by Krista Steenbergen in 1995. She placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke, swimming the second-fastest time in Academy history with a time of 1:05.21. Her time in the 200 breast is the fastest in the MWC this season, while her 100 breast time is the second fastest.

Seely, a senior from Friendswood, Texas, swept both diving events against North Texas (Nov. 17). She finished with 255.45 points on the 1-meter board and 285.22 points on the 3-meter board en route to finishing first on both boards.
