COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - BYU freshman Mark Chay and Wyoming junior Adam Miller have been named Mountain West Conference Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively. This is the first career weekly award for Chay and the third for Miller.

Chay won two individual events in a triple dual meet against Notre Dame, Louisville and Iowa last weekend in South Bend, Ind. He opened with a win in the 200 freestyle (1:40.02), followed by a victory in the 100 freestyle (45.57). His time in the 100 free is the best in the MWC this season, while his time in the 200 free is the second-best in the league.

Miller, a Newcastle, Wyoming, product, won the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions in a non-conference dual match against Denver, setting a personal best score in the 3-meter in the process. He won the 1-meter with a score 277.30, 33 points higher than the second-place finisher, then set his new personal best in the 3-meter, scoring 275.65.
