COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Wyoming junior Damian Storz and Air Force freshman Brady Lindberg have been named Mountain West Conference men's swimmer and diver of the week, respectively.

Storz posted two first place finishes and a second place finish in Wyoming's dual meet victory over the University of Denver last weekend in Denver, Colo. Storz posted a season-best time of 9:47.60 in the 1000-yard freestyle and of 1:55.77 in the 200-yard butterfly, bringing home victories in both events. The Woodlands, Calif., native also turned in a time of 2:12.84 in the 200-yard breastroke for his second place finish. This is his third career swimmer of the week award.

Lindberg collected his first diver of the week award winning both the 1-meter springboard and 3-meter springboard events in two of the Falcon's three dual meets last weekend. Against the Colorado School of Mines, Lindberg scored 268.50 in the 1-meter and 280.20 in the 3-meter to claim victories in both events. The freshman also swept the field against Metro State tallying scores of 181.58 in the 1-meter and 212.63 in the 3-meter. The San Antonio, Texas, native concluded his weekend with a second place finish on the 1-meter (160.28) against Colorado College.

The Wyoming men travel to Albuquerque to face New Mexico on Saturday, Nov. 17. The Air Force men continue their season this weekend as they travel to Minneapolis, Minn. to compete at the Minnesota Invitational, Friday-Sunday, Nov. 16-18.

This week in the MWC: BYU welcomes Pacific to Provo for a dual meet on Saturday, Nov. 17, while UNLV plays host to UC Irvine and Utah hosts Pacific on Friday, Nov. 16.
