PROVO, Utah - The BYU women's and No. 18 men's swimming and diving teams will host conference rival UNLV Friday, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. The women will also take on San Diego State Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. in the Richards Building.

The UNLV men's team comes to Provo off of a loss to No. 16 Arizona State, but had four swimmers win their events, including Jonathon Hugo (50 free), Kyle Goodrich (500 free), Tiger Christian (200 IM) and Damian Demenno (1000 free).

"UNLV is a good team, especially in dual meets," women's swimming coach Stan Crump said. "They were dual meet champs last year, and we'll have to swim well to beat them."

Crump said the meet against San Diego State will be interesting because they have been unable to practice because of the fires the last couple of weeks.

"With San Diego State, we don't know what to expect," Crump said. "If we swim our best, hopefully we can win the meet."

Admission is free to the public.
