COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV's Bailey Kuestermeyer and Utah's Kelsey Patterson have been named the Mountain West Conference Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively. It marks the first weekly honor for Kuestermeyer and the third for Patterson.

Freshman Kuestermeyer won two events in a dual meet against No. 17 Arizona State on Sunday (Oct. 30). The Puyallup, Wash., native began the day with a six-second victory in the 400 individual medley, turning in a time of 4:29.03. She earned her second win of the afternoon in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:19.73, which marked 10th-best showing in UNLV history.

Patterson, an Edmonton, Alta., native, captured a first-place and a second-place finish in diving in a dual meet against UC San Diego on Oct. 29. The junior won the 1-meter event with 243.23 points and placed second in the 3-meter event after tallying 275.25 points, losing out on first place by 1.72 points. Patterson's 3-meter total is the best by a MWC diver this season.
