COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Wyoming freshman John Lynch has been named Mountain West Conference Men's Diver of the Week.

Lynch, a San Antonio, Texas, native, won the 3-meter and finished second in the 1-meter diving events at the Early Bird Invitational in Fort Collins last weekend. He began the meet turning in a score of 454.65 in the 3-meter, 54 points ahead of the second-place finisher. He followed that with a score of 243.52 in the 1-meter, 10 points behind his first-place teammate.
