COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference, in close consultation with San Diego State University, is carefully monitoring the impact of the fires in the San Diego area. Currently, all MWC competition this weekend in San Diego remains as scheduled.

The situation will continue to be evaluated as it develops. A final determination of the status of the events will be made, and announced, as soon as possible.

The following events are scheduled:

Thursday, October 25
MWC Women's Soccer - New Mexico at San Diego State - Aztec Sports Deck (4 p.m. PT)

Saturday, October 27
MWC Men's & Women's Cross Country Championships - Mission Bay Park (10 a.m. & 11 a.m. PT)
MWC Women's Swimming and Diving - Air Force, Colorado State, New Mexico, San Diego State - SDSU Aquaplex (12 p.m. PT)
MWC Women's Volleyball - Colorado State at San Diego State - Peterson Gym (1 p.m. PT)
MWC Football - BYU at San Diego State - Qualcomm Stadium (6:30 p.m. PT/The Mtn.)
