COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado State juniors Kristen Schneider and Lori Vigil have been named Mountain West Conference women's swimmer and diver of the week, respectively.

Schneider, a Regina, Saskatchewan, native won the 100-yard backstroke (58:83), 200-yard individual medley (2:07.70), 200-yard freestyle (1:56.29) and 200-yard backstroke (2:09.06) at the Colorado State Early Bird Invitational Oct. 18-19. Schneider completed the meet by helping the Rams 200-yard medley relay (1:49.07), 400-yard medley relay (3:59.44) and 800-yard freestyle relay (7:58.92) teams to victories.

Vigil, a product of Marietta, Ga., placed third in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 429.65. Her score qualifies her for NCAA Diving Regionals.
