Six MWC Student-Athletes Named to CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine At-Large Academic All-District Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -


Six Mountain West Conference student-athletes are among the individuals named to the 2009-10 Academic All-District All-Large Teams, announced by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and ESPN the Magazine.

Air Force's Eric Robinson, New Mexico's Jodi Ewart and UNLV's Luca Barlocchi each were honored as first-team members of their respective districts. UNLV's Therese Koelbaek and Wyoming's Kari Budd and Emily Huth were recognized as second-team selections.

The sports covered in the at-large category of the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Teams include women's bowling; women's crew; men's and women's fencing; women's field hockey; men's and women's golf; men's and women's gymnastics; men's and women's ice hockey; men's and women's lacrosse; men's and women's rifle; men's and women's skiing; men's and women's swimming & diving; men's and women's tennis; men's volleyball; men's and women's water polo; and men's wrestling.

Three Academic All-District teams are chosen in each district, with those on the All-District first teams placed on the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.
