FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU swimming and diving head coach Richard Sybesma announced the signing of 13 swimmers and divers to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, bringing the total class number for the 2007-08 season to 21. Eight incoming freshmen were named High School All-Americans, while two were members of All-America relay teams.

Jessica Miles, from Grapevine High School in Colleyville, Texas, will look to make an immediate impact for TCU. Miles, who is from the same high school as current senior standout Erica Tate, was named a two-time All-American this season in the 200- and 500-free events. Miles also placed seventh in the 200-free (1:51.80) at the 5A state championship.

Nikki Pappas rounds out the new signees on the women's side. Pappas, a native of Omaha, Neb., swam to a fifth place finish at the 5A state championship in the 50-free (24.4).

Dan Bodin, a freestyle swimmer from Spring, Texas, earned All-America relay honors on Klein High School's 200- and 400-free relay teams. Bodin also swam to a 10th place finish in the 200-free (1:42.81) at the 5A state championship.

Kevin Brown, a freestyle and backstroke swimmer, comes to TCU from Wailea, Hawaii, while Kyle Callens, from Deer Park, Texas, will join R.J. Hesselberg on the men's diving team.

Jeff Hendricks, from Southlake, Texas, will look to make an immediate impact in the freestyle events for the Frogs. Hendricks was a three-time All-America selection this season in the 50-free, 100-free and 200-free events. Hendricks also placed second in the 200-free (1:39.86) and seventh in the 100-free (45.68) at the 5A state championship.

Ben Iannacone is another freestyle swimmer who will join the Frogs this fall. Iannacone, from Century High School in Pocatello, Idaho, earned All-America status in the 200-free this season.

Mike Majek, a freestyle and butterfly swimmer from Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, swam to a fifth place finish in the 100-free (47.81) and an eighth place showing in the 50-free (21.57) at the 5A state championship.

Chris Medley is the second male diver to sign with the Horned Frogs this season. Medley, from Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas, placed sixth at the 4A state championship.

Bryce Orser, from nearby Keller, Texas, is a freestyle swimmer who earned a 13th place showing at the 5A state championship in the 500-free.

Edgar Peyro is another signee who will look to make an early impact for TCU. Peyro, from El Paso, Texas, earned All-America honors in the 200-IM and the 100-breast this season. Peyro also placed third in the 200-IM (1:51.89) and fourth in the 100-breast (57.34) at the 5A state championship.

Josh Schifferer, from Chandler, Ariz., is another former All-American who will join the Frogs. Schifferer earned third place finishes at the 5A state championship in the 50-free (21.26) and 100-free (47.04) events.

Garrett Weaver, from Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas, will swim the butterfly and backstroke events for TCU. Weaver competed in the 5A state championship, finishing in ninth spot in the 100-back (53.00) and 10th place in the 100-fly (51.70).

Trevor Woods, from Omaha, Neb., rounds out the 2007-08 signing class. Woods is a versatile swimmer who took the top spot in the 100-back at the Nebraska state championship, and also earned a second place finish in the 100-free. Woods earned All-America relay honors on Westside High School's 200-medley relay team (1:37.13).
