FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's and women's swimming programs earned Team Academic All-America honors during the 2005 fall semester, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced. The women's team claimed Academic All-America status for the 29th consecutive term, while the men's team met the criteria for the sixth time.

The Horned Frogs were among 53 men's and 78 women's Division I teams to be recognized on the national level for their academic achievements. To qualify for the award each team must earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.8. The honor is given each semester based on the overall academic performance of the team.

The CSCAA recognized TCU swimming and diving's level of success with a certificate of Academic All-American status for the fall.
