MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Sophomore diver R.J. Hesselberg has qualified to take part in the 2007 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships held at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn., on March 15-17.

Hesselberg, a native of Saskatoon, Canada, advanced to the NCAA Championships out of Zone "D", which was held in Austin, Texas. Hesselberg placed fourth in the one-meter diving event, sixth in the three-meter diving event and fifth in the platform diving event.

Hesselberg won five events on the season and was named Mountain West Conference Male Diver of the Week on three occasions.

TCU was represented in the championships last year by former diver Kelly McCain. McCain placed 23rd in the one-meter diver, while posting a 32nd place finish in the three-meter dive.
