COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference announced its Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving all-conference teams today. On the men's side, UNLV led the way with seven first-team All-MWC honorees (individuals), followed by BYU (six) and Air Force and TCU with five apiece. Wyoming (four) and Utah (three) rounded out the list of first-team honorees. The Cougars and Rebels each had five relay teams gather first-team all-conference distinction.

Utah topped the women's list with seven first-team selections (individual), followed by BYU (six), UNLV (five), Wyoming (four), Colorado State (two) and TCU (two). Air Force, New Mexico and San Diego State rounded out the list with one first-team selection each. The Utes had five relay teams gather all-conference first-team accolades, while the Cougars and Rebels had three and two teams, respectively, earn first-team honors.

Below is a list of all first- and second-team All-MWC selections with events participated in at the 2006 Mountain West Conference Championships in Oklahoma City, Okla. On the men's side, UNLV captured its second-straight MWC championship, while the Utah women won its first-ever MWC championship.
