COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - BYU freshman Brittany Davis and New Mexico junior Becca Barras have been named Mountain West Conference Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively.

Davis earns her second weekly award of the season after bringing home two individual wins and a relay victory, helping the Cougars beat conference rival Utah, 127-110. Her individual wins came in the 200 (1:52.52) and 500 (5:01.59) freestyles and she helped the BYU 400 freestyle relay quartet to a MWC season-best time of 3:29.51 on the way to the win.

At last weekend's Air Force Invitational, Barras turned in an impressive performance with three first-place finishes. In the 3-meter prelims, she scored a personal-best 513.65, then came back to score 498.00 in the finals to secure the win. The next day she completed her sweep by scoring 275.10 on the 1-meter and 347.10 on the platform.
