COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Utah freshman Jon Larsen and Air Force sophomore Brady Lindberg have been named Mountain West Conference men's swimmer and diver of the week, respectively.

Larsen, a Stockton, Calif., native swam to two individual victories and was part of the winning 400-yard medley relay team, as the Utes lost a dual meet to Wyoming (125-106) on January 24. He started the meet winning the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events in 21.05 and 46:08, respectively. Larsen completed the meet by anchoring Utah's 400 medley relay team to victory, posting a time of 3:23.72.

Following his performance against Wyoming, Larsen swam to individual victories in the 50 (20.94) and 100-yard (45.56) freestyle events and anchored the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:32.88) as Utah lost to Air Force in a dual meet (141-100) on January 25.

Lindberg, a product of San Antonio, Texas, won the 3-meter diving event at BYU with a score of 236.10 on February 24. He followed up his Friday performance by sweeping the 1-meter (238.35) and 3-meter (252.90) diving events at Utah on February 25.
