COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Utah senior Courtney McKinney and Air Force junior Sarah Law have been named Mountain West Conference women's swimmer and diver of the week, respectively.

McKinney, a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, captured first place in the 200 individual medley in two meets last week, vs. New Mexico and Colorado State, and posted a first-place finish in the 100 free vs. New Mexico. McKinney set a Utah varsity record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.58 vs. New Mexico and bettered that the next day with a time of 2:07.46 vs. Colorado State. McKinney is a first-time MWC Swimmer of the Week award winner this season.

Law, of Parker, Colo., won the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events in a double-dual held at the Air Force Academy and captured first place in the same events at Wyoming. Law posted a score of 266.75 in the 3-meters and totaled 248 in the 1-meter in the double-dual vs. New Mexico State and Northern Colorado, including a final dive that earned all 7's to give the Falcons the edge in team scoring. Law, who totaled 267.6 in the 1-meter and 256.4 in the 3-meter at Wyoming, is a two-time MWC Diver of the Week this season.

BYU and Utah make visits to Air Force and Wyoming this week. Colorado State travels to Wyoming Feb. 1 and the Rebels host Air Force Feb. 9.
