Colorado Springs, Colo. - University of Wyoming sophomore Damian Stortz and junior Oscar Delgado have been named Mountain West Conference Men's Swimmer and Diver of the week, respectively.

Stortz had a strong showing in the Cowboys narrow loss to Air Force Jan. 20. In that meet, he picked up three first-place finishes in the three events he competed in. His times of 4:45.08 in the 500-yard freestyle, 10:02.57 in the 1000-yard freestyle and 1:57.44 in the 200-yard individual medley are all amongst the best in the conference. This is the first time the Woodlands, Calif., native has earned swimmer of the week honors.

Delgado, hailing from Covina, Calif., has earned diver of the week honors for the fourth time this season. He swept the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events with scores of 298.70 and 284.60, respectively. This is the fourth time this season Delgado has swept both events in dual competition.
