COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV junior Joe Bartoch and Wyoming freshman Brittany Wainwright have been named Mountain West Conference Men's Swimmer and Women's Diver of the Week, respectively. Bartoch earned his second award this season, while Wainwright is a first-time award winner.

Bartoch, a native of London, Ontario, Canada, won a pair of individual events and led two relay teams to first-place finishes in last week's double-dual vs. No. 14 North Carolina and No. 6 California. He won the 100 freestyle (45.62) and the 100 butterfly (49.53), while leading the 200 medley relay (1:31.69) and the 200 free relay (1:22.47) to top finishes.

Wainwright, a native of Evanston, Wyo., notched a personal best 275.17 in a first-place finish on the 3-meter board, which qualified her for the 2005 NCAA Zone "E" Diving Championships. Her 3-meter score is seventh-best all-time at Wyoming. Wainwright also posted a second-place finish on the 1-meter board (240.38).
