COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV's Bailey Kuestermeyer and TCU's Kelly Seely have been named the Mountain West Conference Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively. It marks the second weekly honor for Kuestermeyer and the fourth for Seely.

Kuestermeyer, a freshman from Puyallup, Wash., claimed a pair of victories in UNLV's dual meet against Wyoming (Jan. 5). She won the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:17.64, just .16 off her league-best time. She then set a personal best in winning the 200-yard individual medley in 2:07.27, the third-best time in the league this season. At the UC Irvine Sprint Invitational, she won the 200 breast with a time of 2:17.49, .01 off her league-best time. She also took fourth in the 400 IM in 4:30.52, was sixth in the 100 breast (1:07.46), and fifth in the 200 IM (2:09.62). UNLV took third in the meet, behind top-25 Purdue and host UC Irvine.

Seely, a senior from Friendswood, Texas, won all three of her events last week. In a tri-meet with San Diego State and Loyola Marymount, she won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 277.05 and the 3-meter diving event with a total of 299.09. Her 3-meter score was 62 points higher than the next nearest competitor. At the UCI Invitational, she placed first out of 25 divers in the 1-meter with a final score of 276.75.
