Colorado Springs, Colo. - Air Force Academy senior Charles Toth and BYU sophomore Justin Wilcock have been selected as the Mountain West Conference men's swimmer and diver of the week, respectively.

Toth swam to a pair 1st-place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle (20.95) and the 100-yard freestyle (46.26) en route to the Falcons upset of No. 28 Washington, Jan. 4. Both of the Seabrook, Texas, native's times rank in the top 10 in the conference and his time in the 50-yard freestyle is the 9th fastest in school history. In addition to Toth's individual victories, his anchor leg in the winning 400-yard freestyle relay was the deciding factor in the Falcon's upset over Washington. Toth finished .59 hundredths of a second ahead of the Washington leading swimmer, which enabled the Falcons to edge the Huskies 124-113.

Wilcock earned a 1st-place award on the 1-meter springboard and a 2nd-place award on the 3-meter springboard with scores of 218.5 and 204.55, respectively, against Washington, Jan. 6. It is the first time this season the Smithfield, Utah, native has earned Diver of the Week honors.

Up Next: Air Force and BYU compete against each other in Provo, Jan. 12. Air Force then travels to face Utah and BYU hosts Wyoming, Jan. 13.
