Schools in the inaugural event include Florida, Florida International, Miami (Fla.), Michigan State, Penn State and Vassar.

Rams Pick Up Pair of Dual Victories on the Road
Colorado State earned a pair of road dual wins with a 189-111 win at Northern Colorado Dec. 2 and a 148-84 victory at Air Force Dec. 4. The wins improved CSU's dual record to 5-1 on the year and brought the team to 3-1 in Mountain West action. Chandra Engs led the Ram swimmers with four first-place finishes while diver Elyse Hall had two first-place finishes, a second place finish, and a top score in exhibition. Alina Roberts, Tara Staley and Amy Abrams each earned two first-place finishes on the weekend as CSU finished first in 23 of 29 events on the weekend while coming in first and second in 14 of 29 events.

MWC Swimmer of the Week
Colorado State sophomore Chandra Engs was named Mountain West Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week on Dec. 8. Engs, a Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, native, helped the Rams to dual meet victories over Northern Colorado and conference foe Air Force, claiming four first-place finishes in the process. Against the Bears, she was victorious in the 200-yard butterfly (2:14.65), 100-yard freestyle (54.22) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:11.32, season best). In CSU's conference win over the Falcons, Engs tallied a win in the 100-yard freestyle (10:47.30) and also placed fifth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.42).
