EAST MEADOW, N.Y. - Ute swimmers Evan Castro and Cody Rempfer competed at the NCAA Championships over the weekend. Castro qualified in the 100 meter breaststroke, while Rempfer qualified in the 200 meter butterfly. Castro finished with a time of 1:02.27 in the prelims. His time in the 100 breast was good for 34th place. Rempfer finished 31st in the 200 fly with a time of 2:01.25. Neither Ute qualified for the finals in their respective event.
