ATLANTA - Junior Chris Knaute claimed his second All-American honor in as many days, setting another school and Mountain West Conference record, this time with a 11th place finish in the 400 yard individual medley at the 2006 NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.

Knaute's preliminary time of 3:48.98 broke his own top Academy mark of 3:49.33 set at the MWC Championships a month ago. His 11th place finish earned him honorable mention All-American honors and seven more team points. Knaute has earned 11 points in the two days.

Just yesterday, Knaute set a school and conference record with a 13th place finish in the 500 free. The Houston, Texas, native swims the 1650 free tomorrow in the final day of competition.
