WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The University of New Mexico has its first ever women's diving All-American. Senior Becca Barras placed 15th with a score of 265.15 on the 1-meter springboard at the NCAA Championships hosted by Purdue University.

Barras also competed on the 3-meter board, finishing 19th after turning in a score of 457.20 points. She was just three points from a 16th-place finish and her second All-America honor.

Barras will go for the second recognition tomorrow, competing on the platform. Preliminaries begin at 11 a.m. with the finals at 5 p.m.
