Barras Takes Eighth, Quinn 14th On 1-meter At NCAA Diving Zones

Platform dive ends competition tomorrow at 10 a.m.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Senior Becca Barras and freshman Carrie Quinn both placed in the finals of the 1-meter dive on day two of the NCAA Div. I Zone E Diving Regionals at the Oklahoma Community College Aquatic Center. Barras finished eight with a score of 518.95 while Quinn took 14th with 479.05 points.

Blythe Hartley of USC won the 1-meter dive with 612.30 points followed by QiongJie Huang of Hawai'i with 585.40 points. Trisha Tumlinson of Arizona State placed third with 576.45 points.

The women will complete the Zones with the platform finals beginning at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
