OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -
Senior Becca Barras earned a trip to the NCAA Championships next week at Purdue University after her fifth-place finish on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Div. I Zone E Diving Regionals at Oklahoma Community College Aquatic Center. Barras turned in a score of 497.50, just 37 points off of first place.
Qiong Jie Huang of Hawaii won the 3-meter dive with 534.95 points. Following Huang was Blythe Hartley of USC with 527.50 points and Cassidy Krug of Stanford with 522.20 points.
Freshman Carrie Quinn also competed at Zones, placing 28th out of 38 competitors with a score of 209.20.
Day two of the three-day event begins tomorrow at 10 a.m. The women will take part in the 1-meter finals.
