OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Arizona State's Michele Benedetti and UCLA's Tess Schofield won the men's and women's platform diving competition Saturday in final day action at the 2007 NCAA Div. I Zone E Diving Regionals at Oklahoma Community College.
Schofield won the women's platform diving with 524.45 points. Kimberly Popp of USC followed up in second place with 513.85 points. Shana Karp of Stanford placed third with 472.55 points.
Benedetti took top honors in the men's platform diving with 738.75 points. Mats Wiktorsson of Hawai'i took second with 669.35 points. Michael Hilde of USC finished third with 666.70 points.
Ten women and nine men's divers qualified for the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships. The list is at the bottom of the results.
