Fort Collins, Colo. - The Colorado State swimming and diving team dropped its second dual of the Mountain West season with a 157-85 setback to Utah in Moby Pool on Thursday evening.

The Rams managed a victory in only one event taking first place in the 200 medley relay comprised of Amy Abrams, Lyndsey McCaslin, Rachelle Kula and Karin Knudson. The team swam the event in a time of 1:46.63.

Seven Rams recorded second-place finishes led by Chandra Engs with two in the 200 IM (2:11.17) and the 100 free (54.34). Junior Elizabeth Jones came in second in the 50 free (24.76) while Knudson and Brette Winegarner captured second place in the 1 meter diving (243.00) and 200 backstroke (2:08.08), respectively.

Freshman diver Elyse Hall posted a second-place effort in the 3 meter (252.68) and Sara Servold was second in the 200 breaststroke (2:28.64) to round out CSU individuals with finishes in the top two.

CSU's 400 free relay team of Engs, Winegarner, Jones and Taylor Felton also finished second in the event with a time of 3:36.03.

The Rams (5-2, 3-2 MWC) will host BYU in Moby Pool on Saturday at 2 p.m.
