COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - TCU Head Women's Soccer Coach Dan Abdalla has been issued a public reprimand for his remarks critical of a fellow member institution and its administration. Those public comments were in violation of the MWC Sportsmanship Policy.

"The membership has made clear its commitment to the consistent and firm enforcement of the provisions of the Sportsmanship Policy," said Commissioner Craig Thompson. "It is simply unacceptable for one representative of the MWC family to publicly disparage another. Clearly, addressing issues and concerns through the appropriate internal channels is more productive."

The MWC expressed appreciation for the support of the MWC Sportsmanship Policy by Texas Christian University and TCU Athletic Director Danny Morrison. The Mountain West Conference will have no further comment regarding this case.
