COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Student-athlete representatives from Mountain West Conference institutions gathered at the league headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo., Saturday, October 31-Sunday, November 1, for the Mountain West Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee fall in-person meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to bring SAAC officers from each member institution together to discuss Conference, institutional and NCAA student-athlete issues, exchange ideas and establish relationships.

In addition to the administrative portion of the meeting held on Saturday and Sunday morning, the committee members spent Saturday afternoon assisting the Colorado Springs chapter of Habitat for Humanity in building a home for those in need.

The next in-person meeting of the Mountain West Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be in late spring of 2010.
