SERIES NOTE
Air Force holds a 7-2 advantage over New Mexico in Colorado Springs,winning the previous two meetings at home in 2002 and 2004. Last year, the Falcons scored 21 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 42-24 win over the Lobos in Albuquerque.

The Broncos hold a 2-1 advantage over the Utes in Salt Lake City, including a 31-28 win in 1998. Boise State has won the last two meetings overall, includinga 26-20 win in 1999 in Boise.

This is the first meeting between Wyoming and Syracuse. Wyoming has played only one current member of the Big East Conference in Louisville. The Cowboys hold a 3-1 advantage over the Cardinals.

The 32nd edition of the Battle for the Fremont Cannon will take place Saturday at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. UNLV holds a 9-6 record against Nevada, Reno in Las Vegas and have won last three meetings at home. The Rebles took five straight from the Wolf Pack from 2000-2004, but lost last year in Reno, 22-14.

For the second game in a row, BYU sophomore Katie Fellows made the big play, this time giving the Cougars (8-1-1) a 1-0 victory over the University of Arizona (6-4-0) at South Stadium. Fellows' goal came in the 72nd minute when Haylee Cuthbert sent the ball over to the right side of the field off a corner kick. Fellows sent a hard header toward the goal. The ball crossed the line and then bounced off two Wildcat defenders and hit the post while Arizona tried to clear the ball, but the goal had already been made.
