COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Mountain West Conference commissioner Craig Thompson announced the additions of Carrie Wolf and Kelly Slater to the MWC staff.

Wolf joins the MWC as the assistant commissioner for championships. She will oversee 16 championships and 17 regular season Mountain West Conference sponsored sports. Since 1998, Wolf has been on the staff at the United States Figure Skating Association as the senior director of events. She received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Colorado and a master of science in Sport Management at the University of Kentucky, while serving as an athletic trainer at each institution.

A 2002 graduate of Colorado College, Slater will serve as a special projects intern, working closely with the assistant commissioner for championships. Slater was a four-year letter winner on the CC softball team and also served on the school's Athletics Board.
