The mtn. Debuts Friday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. with Live Studio Show
Aug. 31, 2006 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The launch of the mtn. - MountainWest Sports Network will debut at 7 p.m. MT Friday, Sept. 1. The network kicks off with a short introductory video capturing the energy and excitement of Mountain West Conference sports and introduces the mtn. anchors, Courtney George and Marius Payton. George and Payton will debut their new show "The Mountain View," a live weekly preview program that will give fans a look at the weekend's MWC action. Following the studio show, the mtn. will carry its inaugural football game beginning at 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of Thursday night's CSTV match up of UTEP at San Diego State. On Saturday, Sept. 2, the mtn. will continue its coverage of MWC football and carry its first live games - Weber State at Colorado State at 3 p.m. MT, and Portland State at New Mexico at 6:30 p.m. MT. Coverage of each game will include a live pre-game, half-time, and post-game program, hosted by George and Payton.
