Mountain West Conference Radio Show Enters Third Season

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference will enter its third year of production for a weekly radio show, dubbed "This Week in the Mountain West." Jim Arthur of KVOR Radio, Colorado Springs, Colo., will host the show for the second straight year.

Fans will be able to follow the weekly radio broadcast in all Mountain West Conference markets. With clearances throughout the Mountain West region, the radio show will be broadcast in Albuquerque, Cheyenne, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Laramie, Las Vegas, Provo/Salt Lake City and San Diego.

"This Week in the Mountain West" will showcase football, featuring interviews with coaches, student-athletes and special guests, and provide the latest news and notes from around the conference. The show runs through the football season, concluding with a bowl game preview the first week of December.

The first show will include highlights from last week's games as well as a preview of the upcoming season. MWC Commissioner Craig Thompson will be a featured guest on the season-opening show this week.

Arthur brings 20 years of radio experience to the Mountain West radio show. A native of Denver, Colo., Arthur is the play-by-play announcer for Air Force football and men's basketball, while serving as coordinator for all Falcon sports radio broadcasts.
