COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference and ESPN Radio 560 AM in Denver announced today a two-year partnership whereby ESPN Radio 560 AM will serve as the flagship radio station for the conference.
As a part of the partnership, ESPN Radio 560 AM will produce a number of Mountain West Conference events during the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 academic years, including:
"This Week in the Mountain West," a weekly, 30-minute radio show during football season.
Live remotes from the MWC football and basketball media days, and The Front Range Kickoff and Tipoff luncheons.
Production of all fourteen (14) games of the 2004 and 2005 Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships.
Production and syndication of weekly Mountain West Conference call-in show each Wednesday from 6:05 to 7 p.m. MST, hosted by Tim Lewis.
Broadcast of a MWC Game of the Week in football and men's basketball during each year of the agreement.
