COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The Mountain West Conference and Mile High Sports Radio announced today that they have signed an agreement to have KKCK 1510 AM in Denver serve as the flagship radio station for the Mountain West Conference Radio Network.

As a part of this agreement, the Mountain West Conference will again produce its weekly football radio show "This Week in the Mountain West". The syndicated show will be hosted by Tim Neverett and will be made available to all radio stations interested in broadcasting the show on a weekly basis. The first broadcast of "This Week in the Mountain West" will be available the week of August 27.

"Between our television partners The Mtn., CSTV and VERSUS, as well as our new partnership with Mile High Sports Radio, Mountain West Conference fans will have a number of great ways to get information on their favorite Mountain West Conference teams.", said Dan Butterly, Associate Commissioner for Marketing at the Mountain West Conference. "We are proud to welcome Mile High Sports Radio to our family and have them serve as the flagship radio station of the Mountain West Conference Radio Network."

"Given the huge Mountain West Conference fan base along the Front Range, this is a great opportunity for us to provide extremely relevant content to Mile High Sports Radio listeners," said James Merilatt, President of Mile High Sports Radio. "We excited about the partnership and look forward to working with the conference more and more."

Mile High Sports Radio will broadcast games, interviews, shows and features from such Mountain West Conference events as football and basketball media days, the Mountain West Conference men's and women's basketball and baseball championships, the COMCAST Mountain West Conference Front Range Kickoff Luncheon and other games, events and press conferences throughout the year.
