Mountain West Conference Announces 2004-2005 Scholar-Athlete Awards

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A total of 419 student-athletes were named 2004-2005 Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athletes. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least two semesters or three quarters at the certifying institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have competed in at least one varsity contest in their respective sport. New Mexico placed a conference-high 87 scholar-athletes on the list, followed by BYU (71), Utah (68), Wyoming (51), UNLV (46), San Diego State (37), Colorado State (30) and Air Force (28). |
