As the first conference to launch its own television network, the Mountain West Conference has always felt there would be other such networks to follow. A dedicated network is a tremendous concept that captures the real value of local programming and caters to the passionate fan bases that support collegiate institutions and their athletics programs. One of the primary reasons we embarked on this partnership with CSTV was our shared vision of The mtn.

The mtn. is a multi-platform super-regional network that will be distributed via both cable and satellite vehicles. Programming will be offered in a wide variety of forms, including linear television, customized institutional programming, broadband streaming, video-on-demand, mobile/wireless and others. The goal is to provide our fans what they want to see, when they want to see it and where they want to see it.

The mtn., in conjunction with our national platform on CSTV, will showcase more Mountain West events than at any other time in our history and will mark the beginning of a new era for the Conference. We eagerly await the launch of The mtn. in late August.
