COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - On the heels of the tremendous response from teachers and parents to the MWC education initiative, the MWC is expanding the program with a Character Development Series on CD-Rom called STAR SportsmanshipTM. This unique and powerful program will be released in the Fall 2004 and will use sports themes branded with MWC teams and corporate partners to teach young students (ages 7-12) the qualities and values of being a good sport.
This customized MWC version of the program will include an opening video from the MWC, effective character education content created by a well-established group of character education specialists delivered through the Research-based STAR methodology (Stop, Think, Act, Replay), conference and member institution branding throughout the program, direct links to the conference and institutional websites, printable certificates of achievement and more. The conference has requested and expects to include video clip messages about good sportsmanship from several very high profile MWC graduates currently playing professional sports.
