Reaching the Peak: Wyoming Football Episode Seven & 2008 MWC Track & Field Championship Review Shows Highlight This Week's Schedule on The Mtn.

CENTENNIAL, Colo. - The seventh installment of Reaching the Peak: Wyoming Football and championship review specials for the 2008 Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Track & Field Championships highlight The Mtn.'s telecast schedule this week.

Reaching the Peak: Wyoming Football Episode Seven debuts on Wednesday, May 28 at 7:30pm MT. The show will be preceded by an encore presentation of Episode Six at 7:00pm MT. Reaching the Peak: Wyoming Football is an eight-part series that goes inside the huddle of the Wyoming Cowboys football team as they endure the rigors of spring ball in preparation for their 2008 regular season schedule, which begins on Saturday, Aug. 30 when they host the Ohio University Bobcats in Laramie. Episode Eight, a special one-hour conclusion to the series, airs Wednesday, June 4 at 7:30pm MT.

Championship reviews for the 2008 MWC Track & Field Championships will be telecast on The Mtn. beginning Thursday, May 29. The men's championship review airs at 8:00pm MT with the women's program following at 8:30pm MT. Each 30-minute episode covers the results and highlights from the event which took place from May 14 - 17 at the Lowdon Track & Field Complex on the campus of TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. The BYU men's team and Colorado State women's squad, respectively, claimed the MWC championship for 2008.

Olympic sports fans looking for additional coverage can also tune-in to Mountain Peak Performances Thursday's at 7:30pm MT. Mountain Peak Performances provides extensive coverage of Olympic sports, such as softball, track and field, golf, and swimming and diving.
