COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A total of 346 student-athletes were named 2005 Fall semester Academic All-Mountain West. To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.

BYU led the conference with 74 student-athletes named to the team, followed by Wyoming (47), Utah (42), New Mexico (35), UNLV (34), Air Force (33), Colorado State (31), TCU (27) and San Diego State (23).
