The 2006 Mountain West Conference Championship will be held in Las Vegas, Nev., for the second straight year with UNLV serving as the host. All nine teams will meet at Cox Pavilion, Nov. 22-25, for the single elimination tournament with the winner earning an automatic bid to the 2006 NCAA Tournament. This year's first round match pitting the No. 8 seed vs. the No. 9 seed will take place Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 3:30 p.m. PT, with the winner facing the No. 1 seed in the quarterfinal round.
