The 2005 Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship will be hosted
by Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. All six MWC teams will compete in the
double-elimination tournament May 25-28. Seedings will be determined by
regular-season results in conference games.
All requests for media credentials for the Mountain West Conference
Baseball Championship should be submitted to Director of Communications
Ron Christian at the MWC office prior to the event.
The MWC Championship will take place at Franklin-Covey Field. The
15,500-seat facility also serves as the home to Salt Lake's AAA baseball
team, which is an affiliate of the 2002 major league champion Anaheim
Angels. The park dimensions are 345 feet down the left field line, 315
feet down the right field lines and 420 feet to straightaway
centerfield.

BRACKET NOTES:
1. Bracket is based on a three-game schedule for Wednesday-Friday (11 a.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m.), and potentially two games on Saturday (3 p.m., 7 p.m.).
2. Seeds will be determined after the conclusion of the regular season.
*3. The No. 1 seed will play the lowest seed to advance from the first round of tournament games in the 3 p.m. game on Thursday.
4. If the host team is a No. 3, 4, 5, or 6 seed, it will play in the 3 p.m. game in the first round of tournament games.
