The Mountain West is naming anniversary teams for its sports during the 2008-09 school year to commemorate its 10th Anniversary season. The teams will be selected by a combination of balloting of fans, media and institutional personnel.

MOUNTAIN WEST CONFERENCE 10TH ANNIVERSARY TEAM CRITERIA
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
• First team all-conference selection at least once in their MWC career.
• First team All-American by a major/national sector as recognized and utilized by the NCAA for their consensus All-American teams during their MWC career.
• Top finisher at the MWC or NCAA Championships.
• In all cases, the candidate's record as a citizen may also be weighed.
